Volunteers

Consider volunteering at The Children's Room in Arlington or Framingham.  There are many ways to volunteer at The Children's Room. We need help with public relations, graphics, website, office work and fundraising.

We also have some opportunities to volunteer in as a group facilitator. Being present and listening with your heart to a child who has lost someone they love is a wonderful gift to the community. For volunteers interested in facilitating a group, attendance at each of the following sessions is mandatory.

Fall 2008 Program Volunteer Training Dates:

Saturday, September 6th 9:00-5:00pm

Sunday, September 7th 1:00-7:00pm

Saturday, September 13th 9:00-5:00pm

Tuesday, September 16th 6:30-8:30pm

Thursday, September 18th 6:30-8:30pm

It is important that our volunteers reflect the diversity of the children and families we serve, so we are especially interested in attracting a diverse volunteer population.

All training takes place at The Children's Room in Arlington.  For more information on becoming a program volunteer, click here to read more and to download an application.
